it is not going to do the best job cleaning, and could actually dislodge a big piece of junk and make matters worse.

Take them off, take the tops and bottoms off at least and clean them.

You should be able to have the carbs off, cleaned and back on in 3 hours. It's not a big deal

Spraying carb cleaner in them and thinking they are clean just doesn't cut it.

yes, it's fine to spray into the carb

then if there are any accesible areas it would be a good idea to give a rub around with a cloth before the carb cleaner evaporates.

it's ok to clean all 4 at the same time or just 1 at once

(ps don't spray carb cleaner into all 4 carbs then strike the bike up, leave it a couple of mins before starting)

You can but make sure it is running and the back wheel off the ground safely. Spray it in each carb slowly and rev it up as you do so. It won't clean every thing in the carbs but it will remove the gunk and gummy sludge wear the air flows into it.

This won't clean your carbs, if there dirty the dirt is in the tiny holes in the jets, you'll be cleaning the intake tracked with the spray not the float bowl.

I am still trying to figure out how to get at my air filter. I just got a Suzuki RF900R after years of riding a bike where everything was accessible. Does anyone know...do you have to take off the plastic siding or does the gas tank raise up? Anyone have any suggestions?

Carb cleaner. It's for cleaning carburetors, right? Why wouldn't you be able to spray it in your carb?

Imagine that....spraying CARB cleaner into a CARB.....Heaven forbid it actually CLEAN a CARB like the name implies.

I would read the directions on the can if I were you.

    Cleaners are for just that,Cleaning.

It could do some damage, internally,I doubt it but better to be safe than sorry.

The cleaner can not only clean the carby but also inside the bore which you do not want to happen.
