Can Someone Please Help Me With This Monologue?
Does anyone have suggestions on how to do this, and what this character is like? Please help!
Luisa: This morning a bird woke me up. It was a lark, or a peacock; something like that. So I said hello. And it vanished, flew away, the very moment I said hello! It was quite mysterious. So do you know what I did? I went to my mirror and brushed my hair two hundred times, without stopping. And as i was brushing it, my hair turned mauve. No, honestly! Mauve! Then red. then some sort of a deep blue when the sun hit it.... I'm sixteen years old, and every day something happens to me. i don't know what to make of it. When i get up in the morning and get dressed, I can tell...something's different. I like to touch my eyelids, because they're never quite the same. oh, oh, oh! I hug myself till my arms turn blue, then I close my eyes and cry and cry till the tears come down and I can taste them. I love to taste my tears. I am special. I am special! Please god, please, don't let me be norma

luisa could be somebody very hyper... and you could have her holding a cup of coffee. you could also have her do the things she says she did. for example, when she says "so do you know what i did? i went to my mirror and brushed my hair 200 times." she could actually tkae a brush (prop) and brush her hair, until she does the next thing. she should be very energetic, and not gloomy. because if she is, it would be boring! and because her lines are kinda 'wacky' so she should be somebody who is a little crazy. and dress her in a costume that is bright, and happy, and a little crazy, maybe. you don't want to dress her in some boring uniform, because she isn't a boring person. also make the scenery bright, and vibrant, because she's, again, a happy person that shouldn't have some DULL and BORING room! i hope this helps! good luck with your monolouge!

No, do it like a mental patient. Yes, im serious. this could be an amazing piece if perfomed right. Do it with complete seriousness right up until the end. then let yourself get hysterical. Just feel the anguish of the patient.

freaky but good depending on how you present it. but i don't get the oh oh oh part...
as far as character a bit flamboyant and freaky..like in your face here i am!!! "i am soo happy all the time!!"
