Which city should have new franchise or bring franchise back?
With current 30 teams in a league today, many cities applied for new franchise or current NHL city relocate the franchise.
If you were commissioner of the NHL, you want to expand two more teams.
In my opinion, Las Vegas and Seattle should get the NHL team.
With Seattle would relocate their basketball team Sonics to Oklahoma City this year.
What's your opinion of expansion from 30 teams to 32 teams?

I think Seattle should get a team, don't know about who else.

I'm not sure about Las Vegas because the crowd wasn't very active in the NBA all-star 2008 so I doubt they would with an NHL team. I agree Seattle should get an NHL team or if a Canadian team probaly Winnipeg or Nova Scotia perhaps.

I want Seattle to have an nhl team soon. I am moving out there and with no super sonics they need another sport and why not hockey. Plus maybe once a year I could see the Pens play the seattle squad.

First of all get rid of the Ottawa senatards so you can add an extra team. I defiantly agree with you on Las Vegas. The other 2 I would chose are Austin and Give Winnipeg a team back.
@Bot Ottawa never sells out there games by the way. The only have ban waggoners who show up during the playoffs.

Seattle would be great.
Too bad the Sonics specifically excluded the nhl in the key arena remodeling plans about 10 years ago. They made it just under the NHL-mandated minimum for luxury suites so that they wouldn't have to deal with an nhl franchise.
Stupid move, but greed does that.

First things first, let's get rid of the Panthers, Predators, Hurricanes, and Thrashers. Move those teams back to cities which shouldn't have ever lost them, like Winnipeg and Hartford. Then, add two more teams in cities that will support the sport. One Canadian city and one American city would be a good idea. How about Hamilton or Quebec City and maybe Seattle or Portland?
Honestly, I don't really care as long as I get the Whalers back.

no more american teams, if your gonna bring them back Winnipeg, Quebec City, Halifax, even Hamilton. Theres no reason to bring more teams to the US, why bring a team to Las Vegas when they will sell 8,000 tickets for a game, when they play anywhere in canada you will get 18,000+ people at a game. Like Detroit is the so called "Hockeytown" where they cant even sell out for a top team, what does that really say? when did Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal not sell out a game? BRING THE TEAMS TO CANADA BETTMAN
Theres a reason why Las Vegas doesnt have any major sport teams... no one will go, waste of money, people go to Vegas for the cino's not to watch sports

instead of new teams, they should relocate some teams, 32 is just too many teams

Give a team to alaska, and call them the Anchorage Sockeyes, you know because the salmon fishing is good up there, it would be flippin' sweet.
