    1. When did you file your Taxes? --If you did not file until April 1, don't expect to see it in the first run of payments. Are you the only filer or was it joint? If it was a joint it would be based on the main filer's SS#.--That is why mine won't be here until at least Monday.

    2. Did you use H&R Block or other tax preparation company where you got a refund anticipation loan or put on a debt card? If so, it looks like yours will be sent via check.

If you filed and got your return already and so by direct deposit then you should have gotten your "rebate" by now.

Your last 2 numbers are 14, mine are 10 and I got mine on the 30th. You may want to call and speak to someone instead of using the website the number is 1-800-IRS-1040, and if you have online banking just keep an eye on your account.

    Wait till Monday.

The rebate payment will equal the amount of tax liability on the return (tax liability on the return Form 1040 line 46 or Form 1040A line 28) with a minimum amount of $300 and a maximum amount of $600 for individuals.

Those who did not get full tax rebate this year, will get remaining money in 2009 when they file their 2008 return and qualify. For information on stimulus tax rebate schedule, the eligibility and how much rebate you will get read: http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/02/are-you-eligib...

It sounds like maybe you don't really have direct deposit by the IRS, or possibly you filed too late to be included in the first wave of rebates.

If you filed through any program or business like jackson hewitt or h r block and had the filing fee deducted from your return you will not be eligible for the direct deposit, instead you will get a paper check next month, or abouts. lol. This has happened to me and I dont think the IRS made it very clear that this would be the case as it has happened to most people, who have had already spent or had plans for this money.

Check the bank statement that has your 2007 refund on it. If it says US TREASURY 220 TAX REFUND ( means refund came directly from IRS) when your refund was deposited, then you will get direct deposit. If it says anything else (means it came from a third party like H&R Block , TurboTax , etc.) you will receive a paper check
