Gender Identity Disorder?

Im a teenage female and Ive had this problem for about 3 years.I dont

think I want to be a male but i have a mascunility about me i cant

hide...

I looked up Gender Identity Disorder but i dont really have any of the

symptons it says Im not a lesbian and I dont have a desire to grow a penis

but still i have this mascunility about me that everyone notices.Ive also

been told that i have the "mindset" of a male. I know Im a tomboy and i

think that has to do with always being around my brothers but theres

something else there that bothers me..

Are these feeling normal at my age?or maybe it

Could it be the heavy dosage of steroids that i was put on when i was

younger?

I found someone that i can tell has kinda the same problem as me except hes

a male and has a feminine personality. He an adult and its easy to see hes

trying hide his feminine personality. I dont know him that well but hes

someone i would like to talk to because i know that hes been through the

same thing i have with teasing and things like that and i want to ask him

how he deals with it but Im to shy to talk to anyone face to face about

this and its not somthing im just gunna go up ask him because thats just

weird.

How do i give a hint that i want to talk to him about my gender disorder

while telling him that i know he has one too?

....whatever you do, take one step and one day at a time....no one Human Being is 100% male or 100% female, inside or out....we are all a mix and really who but You knows exactly how you feel about anything....other people's opinions are just that, their opinions....for each of us has our own paths and journey to live Life....

....someone here, sounds all nicey nice and full of wisdom, when in fact if you have read any of his prior answers you would quickly see that his own 'self cure' for his issues are also just that....his own....suggesting an organization like exodus, will only lead you down a path of self denial and have the same 'cure' results he has experienced....imho....a self hating individual that has been abused, degraded and humiliated by his father and older brothers....

....if you think that it is warranted, please do seek a therapist that is knowledgeable and experienced with gender issues....not a group or organization that is out to 'cure' you....because, simply put, there is nothing 'wrong' with you....you are a Human Being.

....speaking with the person you referred to may be helpful....at least get another 'real' persons perspective....just please be careful how you approach the subject....but if you are friends, that is cool....just talk about whatever and let the conversation flow where it may....

....the splendor of Life and the diversity of the spectrum of Being for each of us is unique....never let someone 'tell you' who you are or who you 'should be'....that is for you and you alone to discover and live....

....GID is in the DSM....currently, but not for long....in case you do not know, homosexuality was in there too a few decades ago and it was not much before that, that people where subjected to all sort of inhumane treatment at the hands of so called 'professionals' to cure them....

....gender identity becomes a disorder, especially for those in denial, when others in society 'judge' them and find it their will to persecute....with belittling, degrading, humiliations and otherwise dehumanizing treatment....then sit back and 'claim' they (those with GI issues) are the ones with the problem....

....personally speaking, (only speaking for myself) my gender issues were resolved when i transitioned and took my place in the dichotomy of our society....but even from many with the trans perspective i have sold out to the binary....so you see, no matter what you do or do not do, others will always judge you and it is only you that is ultimately responsible to help yourself be the best Humane Human Being You Can Be!

I think it is normal for a Female to feel Masculine ..I believe that a lot of people aren't 100% Feminine or Masculine. A lot of people would fall somewhere in between.I know I have a masculine, and a feminine side.

Society practically says what is Feminine, and what is Masculine. And labels are put on you if you don't fall into one or the other. And if you don't fit either of them. It's confusing.

I am a Girl, but I feel I relate better to Guys.I feel in place when I'm with Guys, than when I'm with Girls.I still identify as Female though.

It's more important how you see yourself than how others see you. You're the only person who knows who you really are.

I think you should start off a conversation about something simple at first, and than when you eventually start talking, just ask questions about Gender Identity Disorder.Like what do you think about?that's what I do.I think it would be great to talk to him because you both have something in common. And it would be easier to understand one another.Instead of being judged, and labeled by others who don't know.I don't think it is strange to ask anybody about a Gender disorder.

I easily have considered the Barbara Walters video's. And it particularly is my opinion on it. at the start, who in this earth has considered a 6 month previous infant elect any sexual something?? Now i'm going to attend to the mummy and dad in those situations. infants at a undeniable age while they're babies will ask approximately who and what they're. As they have stumbled on their unique toddler areas. And what to be conscious of what they're for. What might take place working example if a pair comes to a decision that they don't want that intercourse of a teenager. And from an exceptionally very youthful age start to gown, communicate over with and tutor to others this toddler interior the alternative intercourse then what they're. that youngster might think of two issues, first they have been created incorrect, and 2nd that they could desire to be fastened to terrific the project. Like I easily have stated this may be because of the fact the youngster ought to remember. so as that the youngster might "think of" those issues. yet particularly it particularly is taught that this replaced into actual. i don't think of it particularly is a difficulty with the youngsters in this, yet with some very ill mum and dad. God would not make blunders, and to declare you at the instant are not the terrific intercourse. And which you're interior the incorrect physique means that. it particularly is not a actual project like a Downs toddler is. yet something that I completely believe is a nurture project. That this society is now keeping in severe regard.
