job opening and pregnant?

I am currently not working. We recently moved and I couldn't find anything so I've just been fixing up the house and being a housewife.

I am 4 months pregnant-16 weeks. There is a job in the paper that I think I would be perfect for. Do you think I should even apply? I would only be there for 5 months until I'm gone for 6 weeks when I would have the baby.

Please give me your opinions.

being honest with you, there is nothing wrong with applying for the job, but a lot would depend on what pressure it was going to put on you towards the end of the pregnancy.

The employer may, however be reluctant, as he will have just got you trained into the job, then have to find somebody else to cover for your maternity absence.

Its a naughty situation, and the employers reluctance would be understandable, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

there isn't any injury in employing for a job which you think of you would be appropriate for, pregnant or no longer. the element you will want to remember, is will you bypass returned to artwork after the baby. making an investment time in guidance a individual for 5 months, that's no longer coming returned is complicated.....VERY. Plus, the value of gas and daycare ought to bathe out any income or paycheck which you would be making. you will possibly desire to look into the value of daycare on your area and daycare strategies. a minimum of be thinking approximately those issues.

Can you handle the physical demands of the job? Working in late pregnancy may be hard on your body. I was too sick to work during some periods of my pregnancy such as all the vomiting I did.

    Best wishes though.

Maternity leave is the LAW. You will get time off for the birth and " bonding " 6 weeks I think.

They ( employer ) dont ask , dont tell.

I wouldn't especially if you are making it now and you would not be there long enough for the maternity leave benefits
