Repairing Washing Machines?

I bought my washing machine in Oct 2000. It was spoilt this morning. How much does it cost to repair and is it worth? Anyone has contacts for cheap and good repair service?

Go to www.repairclinic.com and look for the problems you are having. You can figure out how much parts would cost and if you are up to changing them yourself. Tough decision with washing machines being so expensive these days.

Normal life span of a washing machine is about 7 to 8 years, your machines was purchased in 2000 so it is about 8 years old, I assumed the major components would need to change like electronic circuit board, drum etc. It is beyond economical sense to repair it. With many sales in the market, it is more economical to buy a new one and that comes with (I think) 2 years warranty.

must be the two brushes or belt in accordance with despite if it is going around in any respect, some fashions will handle a wash cycle with the brushes putting on the springs yet quit whilst it incorporates the spin cycle,my suggestion is get a restoration guy in if its the brushes as its no longer in basic terms an uncomplicated old ones out and new ones in,the armature should be checked and wiped sparkling,if new brushes are positioned on a grimy or worse nonetheless tough armature the place brushes have been arking then it is going to shred them and reason early failure of the brushes or perhaps worse the motor itself.

Look at the paper work that came with the washer/dryer when you first got it. There should be a phone number that you can call .
