Road Trip England France?

Planning a road trip with my wife for 2 weeks as a late honeymoon in the summer travelling round france, to include southern France. Anyone any recomendations as to where to go/see/stay? We'd like a bit of camping, and a bit of hotel-ing.

Gorges Du Tarn, on the way to Carcassonne, along the A 75.

Fantastic views along the Tarn River.Turn left just before the Viaduc de Millau, and follow the signs.

It was 26 degrees today, and the campsites and Hotels are of good quality, and resonably cheap.

It is around 2 hour 20 mins from Carcassonne, and the river is shallow, so a trip on the Barques, (motorised punts that are guided) to take in the superb views up the side of the Gorges or canoeing is well worth it.

We have the National Park de Cevennes, where you can see vultures, or visit the caves in Dargillan or Even Armand.

Even on a bad day the scenery is fantastic.

I should know, i live here.

    Regards Les Vignes

    ( have a good one)

i'm unsure with reference to the age factor, yet I drove by way of France, Spain Portugal, etc and that i understand which you may desire to get coverage. Your coverage organization needs to appreciate which you're going overseas. additionally, in particularly some eu international locations, you may desire to hold a regular help kit and an twist of destiny warning triangle interior the boot of your vehicle. As on your very own (own) medical coverage, you may get a eu wellness Card, it particularly is on the industry, yet this basically enables undemanding medical coverage interior the form of an twist of destiny, etc. The placed up workplace is with reference to the main inexpensive, i think of that's around £20 for a week's coverage. you relatively shouldn't shuttle without trip coverage as in case you grow to be ill or have an twist of destiny you will might desire to pay for each little thing and wellness midsection continues to be/medical expenditures might nicely be particularly high priced overseas. once you're in France, in case you circulate on the main important roads, they have toll cubicles which will nicely be very high priced. even if, those are the main direct roads. The secondary roads do no longer in many situations have tolls yet they take the less direct direction.
