Brides (and their Mothers and their bridesmaids) come to bridal shows for ideas and LOTS OF FREE STUFF. And if you do not have something to give away or win then they will not spend much time with you or in your booth.

I have seen Brides stand in line for over an hour to sign up for a FREE honeymoon or wedding gown or a formal portrait by a local photographer.

Bridal shows are usually very noisy because the DJs are playing music to attract a Bride's attention. And there is always several DJs at a bridal show.

I strongly suggest having something "small" to give away with your business card or brochure attached to it. So even if a Bride only spends thirty seconds in your booth she still will have some way of contacting you at a later date. Try some small bags of wrapped hard candy or nuts or wedding bubbles.

I stopped doing bridal shows a long time ago. I've been to bridal shows where there were thousands of brides, and I have been to bridal shows were there were only a few brides (a snow storm that day).
