Fat content on back of package of Bacon, are those values for raw bacon or cooked bacon?

    it would just be an estimate. Rashers of bacon vary significantly in the amount of fat.

    The fact is that bacon is over 50% fat and is filled with sodium and nitrates. Eat it sparingly. Use the 50% number when calculating grams of fat for a diet.

    It's for the RAW meat hun. Why?

    Because they are telling you how much fat the bacon does to your body when its not cooked. But when it is cooked who knows how much oil you use or how much grease will be added to the bacon. GOOD LUCK.

    It's probably for raw, as they can't say what it will be after you've cooked it as you might us a lot of oil or butter of whatever you use to cook it.
