Problem with Limewire not connecting...driving me crazy!?
I just had to reinstall Limewire on my old computer as my new one broke. I also am using AVG version 8 and my OS is Win XP SP 2. I have tried everything I can think of to get Limewire to access the net....allowed exceptions with windows firewall...added the ports as exceptions too. I have also tried to configure my AVG (antivirus free edition) but with no success. I(f anyone can help me...thanks in advance!

Uninstall Limewire.
Uninstall Java.
Install Java first from www.java.com
Reinstall Limewire

limewire will slow down your computer same with any p2p media program and its also a possible high risk to identity theft like your ip will pretty much show up to anyone thats just what i heard
