  • Computer keeps shutting down when burning dvd?

My Acer Aspire SA85/ AP S285 desktop with Windows XP Service pack 3 has started shutting down when burning DVD's with Xilisoft DVD creator. I have never had this problem before and it worked fine just last week but suddenly started just turning itself off every time I try to burn something. I have changed the power supply as I thought it must be that but it still has the same problem. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

  • Question about being induced??

I am being induced tomorrow with my 4th child and just want to know other peoples experiences with induction as I have never been induced before. Is it more painful than natural birth? Does it take longer? My last birth was only 3 and a half hours so I am a bit nervous.

Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Has anyone tried nipple stimulation to induce labour where it worked?

Just wondering if this has been an effective way to induce labour and how long it took after doing it for 15 minutes an hour over a few hours (as I have read online to do)?

  • Canon Pixma MP160 Printer suddenly won't recognise refilled cartridges?

I had my cartridges refilled recently and although my printer was saying they were both empty...it still printed and has done perfectly well for a couple of weeks. I tried to print something today and I am getting an error message, E5, telling me that the cartridges are unrecognisable and it is now refusing to print which is driving me crazy!! I have tried cleaning the sensors? on the cartridges and on the printer and reseating the cartidges as well which have not worked.

Any ideas would be very welcome...Thanks in advance!

  • Why does my computer shut down when running a scan?

It was fine until a few days ago when I found my computer off in the morning. After I restarted and ran a scan I found untold amounts of trojans and spyware which were then cleaned from my computer. (I don't know what websites my teenage son has been visiting but whatever they were they have stuffed my computer up!)

Now my hard drive is filled up and although I can scan in safe mode, when not in safe mode, my computer shuts down half way through. I also tried to clean up C drive to get rid of cookies etc and it shut down half way through that too. I am at a loss!

Could it be overheating or have a virus my Norton Internet Security 2007 isn't picking up?

    Please help!!! Thanks in advance.

  • Can anyone think of a good middle name for Eva?

Hubby and I can't think of one that we agree on and I want to name my baby after my deceased mother Yvonne...hence calling her Eva (or maybe Evie). Any suggestions would be helpful.

I already have one daughter named Lily Mae and a niece named Bella Scarlett so can't use any of those names.

    Thanks.

  • The best way to remove paint overspray from windows?

When I moved into my new house it hadn't been cleaned and there is a lot of paint from a spraygun on the windows. Most of it is light and thin but then there are a few quite big drips as well. Some of the windows are textured (bathroom windows). I don't want to scratch them at all....anyone know of an easy and safe way to remove it? Thanks in advance!
