    Clotted with scones, double for home made ice cream and whipped for 'fun'.

    The types of cream are classified according to fat content in it. Light cream has 18-30% fat, whipping cream has 30-36% fat while heavy cream has 36% or more. Also there is half and half 10-18% fat. Single cream 18% fat. Double cream 48% fat and clotted cream 55% fat.
