    That piece is from the baroque era and is pretty much a violin "concerto". Vivaldi wrote tons of this type of music

    Georg Philipp Telemann was a contemporary of Vivaldi and also wrote music for violin with orchestral accompianment

    You could try some of Vivaldi's other music. A lot of his music remained undiscovered until around the 1930's, and over the years much more by him has been discovered and recorded.

    Mozart's violin concerto's are good, and Beethoven's string quartets. Pagannini's violin concertos are quite something to listen to as well.

    Then there is Elgar, Finzi, Walton, Vaughan Williams, Sibelius...............

    But it is really a question of discovering.

    Giuseppe Verdi's "Aida" is wonderful.

    "The Planets" is another good set... I think it actually may be by Vivaldi as well.
