BB soap-Gift vs Suicide?

This is a touchy question and I can see both sides,,,I think Katie is saying this because she is so angry with him and maybe feeling a bit guilty and doesn't know how to give thanks>> which ever it is??? She needs to be grateful that shes still alive and able to try to take Nick from Bridget as she was set on doing when she got shot!!!

and with Brooke and Donna calling him a hero,,,even if they did think him a coward,,,I dont think they would let Katie know because it would make her feel worse than she feels already..

I just wonder if Storm was saved before he died???

I think the storyline has made for some excellent TV...

The whole thing is a real can of worms... I think Storm was most definitely NOT a coward-- I believe he soley shot himself so that Katie could live, not because he was afraid he was going to jail... That being said, I do not condone suicide, because there's no way around it, that's what it was.

Katie really needs to realize that SHE CAN'T CHANGE THINGS and accept Storm's gift, there really is no other option... If she rejects his heart, he will have died in vain.

(Although I can't pretend to know how I would actually feel in her situation.)

I don't know if any other soap has done a suicide story; but this is a good one. I think Katie is just hurting and angry that Storm took his life but she knows he loved her enough to correct his error by giving his life so she could live hers. Why go to jail and his sister die and it is his fault. The gift of life what more could she want.

I think that Katie is feeling guilty for what happened. She ran in to the room not knowing the situation(Storm should not have brought the gun to Ashley's). Fighting over the gun made it go off and I think she had her finger on the trigger as well as Storm. After saying that, he was facing going to prison for this and since his heart was a good match he felt that she was deserving of the gift of his heart and the only way to give it to her (since there were none available) was to kill himself.

CBS--I used to watch ABC soaps years ago. I loved OLTL and GH the best. I watched back when Kim Delany was on AMC and Luke/Laura on GH were just begining. I remember a lot of their storylines from back then. I only watch for a years years so I wasnt to vested in them as I was a teenager at the time. They were great shows and I'm sure they still are. I moved from Utah to Ohio in 1980. That was when I switched to CBS soaps, I was in high school and my friends families watched CBS.Now I love them. I skipped a few years here and there but I always came back. I wont do that again.

Storm gave Katie a gift and Katie is the one acting like a Coward....When I watch the soap and hear Katie talking about how Storm made a mistake and she should be dead..I just shake my head and think "UNGRATEFUL"

Well it was the coward's way out, but at the same time, he saved his sister's life. He would've spent the rest of his life in jail anyway, either for killing Katie (albeit accidentally) or for shooting Stephanie. I just hope Katie gets out of the hospital soon. They're dragging this thing out.

excuse me for being different but....Katie wanted her brother to fight with her, or maybe felt that she should have died to save Storm,so she could see him again but instead took his own life. so i think thats why Katie sees Stom as a coward. i think suicide is a selfish and cowardly way out, it doesn' t solve anything and is a last resort. sorry but i don't feel that way. the Logan's are trying to chalk him up to being a hero for killing himself and that his heart was a "gift".

It was a beautiful gift from Storm .But I also feel Katie on this.I mean if I was in her position I would feel the same.It so hard for her to forget her brother death and the reason why.

it was a gift, b/c he didn't want his sister to die and she would've, but he also was a coward b/c if he would've went to jail for shooting Stephanie, none of this would be happening to begin with, he took the easy way out. You gotta admit, his thinking was a little out there, I mean w/the way he was acting with Ashley and everything. I can't really blame Katie, I wouldn't won't to walk around w/my dead brothers heart!
