Wolf,human community?

I seen this documentary called " Paw and foot", where a set of artifacts, bones, dna and other evidence was found in British Columbia back in 2002, suggesting there could have been a tribe were aboriginal humans and wolves lived together. Do you think its possible that a wolf and human pack could have actually co-existed?

The domesticated dog descended from wolves which came to live together with humans, so at one point in time the two species did coexist together. Over many generations, humans selectevly bred most of the competative behaviour out of the wolf, making it an ideal hunting companion.

An even more curious partnership between humans and other carnivores happened in New Zealand. Killer whales assisted humans in the hunting of larger whale species. The killer whales alerted humans on the shore that larger whales were in the area. The killer whales then helped keep the larger whale at bay until humans harpooned it. The humans let the killer whales eat the tongue of the larger whale in repayment for their help.
