Trailblazers are very popular utility vehicles . However they just may be in their final year of production because GM is introducing the " Traverse " alongside the shorter production of the 09 Trailblazer . If you dont mind driving a vehicle that has had the same basic style for 10 years its a great choice . My 07 Trailblazer never got more than 15 MPG but it did tow my 6000 lb boat . I would like to buy the 390 HP one with the Corvette 6.0 Liter , the SS . Hope you enjoy yours as much as I did .

I have a GMC Envoy, essentially the same car, just a more luxurious interior. I can honestly say it is the best car I have ever owned. It does not get the best MPG, but it does not take away from the ride of this car. To say the least, it is like driving a mattress. Speed-Bumps are virtually unnoticeable, Engine Noise is almost none, the only thing I can complain about is wind noise. At highway speeds, the drivers side door sometimes seems to be open due to wind noise. It has a good towing capacity, overall, it is a great car. I would rather have an Envoy over a Trailblazer though. The price difference is not so big.
Good Luck

I promise I wont tell you about gas prices. I bought a 2007 Chevy suburban last year and I LOVE it! Chevy has always been a good car to our family. When the Tahoe first came out, we bought one. I never, ever had a single 'hiccup' with that car. I traded it in for a new Mercedes E350 and the M.B. was the worst car we ever owned...tons of problems. after only one year we traded the M.B. in for the Suburban.
I always think Chevy is the way to go. Good luck!
