My friends are black, I'm not...greeting card?

I want to send my friends an anniversary card, they are black. Should I send a card with black people on it? I'm part Native American and I love to receive those kind of cards. But I know everyone is different and I know I could pick something with flowers or kitty cats or whatever, but I was just wondering - what do YOU think? What would YOU do?

Update:

Any fool that says I'm a raceist shows they are a jerk. And Judas Rabbi, I guess someone like you has no friends of any color.

Update 2:

To "hello everyone" "blah, blah, blah" and "cinnamon", you are morons that are filled with hate. I'm glad I'll never know any of you. To all of you that were kind, nice, helpful and funny - thank you for your good answers.

Update 3:

Mikeybru and Sly & Cunning - thank you for the kindness. Wish others could be more like you two.

Please ignore him. Just send any card i'm sure they won't mind! If they do then they are probably bad friends!

i'm a black lady and that i comprehend who Rakim is yet i don't comprehend the lyrics to the raps. i do no longer think of that makes me any much less black. there are literally 1000's of black people who don't comprehend who he's and don't care. no longer all black human beings are into rap and hip-hop. only be you and prefer who you like and forget approximately all the different bullsh*t. If she retains bringing it up tell the way you sense approximately it. If she's you buddy, she'll drop it. If she does not, drop her. authentic buddies do no longer make you sense uncomfortable and attempt to harm you on purpose. She's doing it to make herself sense like she's all understanding, no longer being concerned that she's hurting you.

Just pick a nice card with lovely words inside. I'm sure they will appreciate the kind gesture.

    Best of luck

I'm black and I like to get cars with black people on them.To me it means that you made the extra effort to find that card because they are not that common. A popular brand is called Mohagany and they sell them at Hallmark

If they seem really proud of their heritage, I say, go ahead.

My family is Italian and I love it when people joke about how much food we eat. I think that could even make a pretty funny card.

I'm guessing this isn't a joking matter though, if they understand that you do like things like that, I'm sure they wouldn't be offended. I think if it's from the heart instead of something just glitzy and general, they would love it.

Do what you feel comfortable doing. If you are unsure then I suggest you pick one of the 10 billions greeting cards out there that do not depict people of any race in it. Play it safe. I wouldn't be offended but if you have to question it, then don't do it.

I tend to give cards that match the people's personality...Not what race they are. Just go and look at the cards and pick one that fits...since they are your friends it shouldn't be hard.

i really dont think that it would matter. You are friends, and they will not be affended by an aniversary card, so if you are really not sure, then dont get them a card that has pictures of people on it, get one of an aniversary cake or something like that!

Go for a good card that fits them regardless. My daughter is black and I feel kinda funny when another race buys her a black Barbie

wow, tough question - my question is, do they have black dolls and stuff at home? I had a friend who had only black Barbies, black picture of Jesus, and Santa Claus...if they are like this, then a card 'of color' might be a cool thing. but if they are more multi-cultural, perhaps just a really nice, thoughtful card of any kind would be just as good.

    hope this helps! ;)

If they're easily offended, try to get one where the race doesn't really matter.

I'm black, and some of my Caucasian friends just buy me something if its cute. =)

Answer my question, anyone? It'll be greatly appreciated...
