Is there a maximum size you can write a Yahoo answer?
If there is, does it count characters or lines? I just wrote an answer that refused to post until I chopped a few lines out of it.
what you said applies to QUESTIONS and to EDITS
there is NO character limit mentioned on the ANSWER screen, if there was I wouldnt be asking...in the hope someone actually KNOWS

There is no limit to the size of an answer (or at least no KNOWN limit). If you had problems posting an answer, it may be due to other reasons, such as imbedded links (which often trigger error999) or other issues. I've seen HUGE answers post on here with no problems at all. Another issue might be a bad cache file on your system -- that can make a lot of odd things happen to you.

There is a space limit that includes each letter you use and each space between them. You can see under the box you answer in that it will tell you how many you have left with each space you use.
