  • How can I reheat Chinese food at home?

Sometimes I buy two Chinese take-aways, but only eat one. Next day when I try to reheat it in the microwave, usually the rice gets very dried out. Is there a good way to reheat this kind of food?

  • Is all hospital food awful? does it have to be?

Recently I spent a week in hospital, one of the best in my city, and the only edible food was the cheese and biscuits (afternoon snack) and the bread and butter. All the cooked food was plain steamed, no salt, herbs or oil; a beautiful looking piece of chicken was pink and close to raw in the centre, all the vegetables were still hard.

Isn't good nutrition supposed to help you get better? what good is it if you can't eat it and end up living on sandwiches the whole time you're in there? Sandwiches had a single thin slice of filling and a smear of sauce (mayo, chutney etc).

Okay, that's a lot of questions in there. Really I just want to know, is it possible for a hospital to provide meals that are properly cooked and taste good?

  • What will happen to Question times with Daylight Saving?

The USA (except for Arizona) is going onto Daylight Saving time today. At 2 am, clocks will be set forward to 3 am.

I am submitting this at 1.58 am PST.

What times will show on it when it appears? in half an hour's time, how many "hours ago" will it say on the question?

  • Do question details and edits get mixed up?

Someone told me they posted a question, then later added additional details. When they submitted these, they found the new details had gone on top and the original question showed in "additional details".

Has this happened to anyone else?

  • What is the safest cutting board to use?

As well as wooden cutting boards, we can now get nylon, glass, and flexible plastic cutting sheets. Which is the safest to use and easiest to clean? I am concerned about bacteria.

  • Is your password safe after the virus attack??

WARNING === if your computer got infected by clicking on the "answers-video" virus link that has been going around, CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD RIGHT NOW.

We are starting to see new answers from the spambot, putting in virus links, under the names of REAL USERS who are still innocently asking and answering themselves.

The virus steals your password and uses it to piggyback on your account.

If YOU had the virus, is YOUR password safe?

    Have you changed it?

Change it on everything you have a password for.

    Do it NOW.

  • why do fingernails start curling down?

About six months ago one of my nails started to curl down. I thought it was from hours of being pressed against the computer mouse. Now all of them are doing it (but not the thumbs). I always had strong long nails. They've had like little ridges on them, lengthways, for as long as I can remember, at least 30 years, so I don't think the curling is related to that. Does anyone know what is causing the curling?

  • What's a good video editor software for beginner on a budget?

We just acquired a camcorder with tape, memory card and USB connections. What software do I need to transfer videos from it to my PC and what could I edit them with? I need something not expensive and not very complicated, just enough to cut out scenes I don't want and add simple captions.

I have XP with 512Mb, how much more will I need? and what is good for watching those videos when I've made them?

I'm only new to video editing, not computers.

  • max size for Yahoo answer?

Is there a maximum size you can write a Yahoo answer?

If there is, does it count characters or lines? I just wrote an answer that refused to post until I chopped a few lines out of it.
