How to work around the per cent sign glitch

Anyone having trouble with % signs???
Putting a % into your question or answer will give you the Breather error page.
The only solution is, place a $ sign or ^ instead of the %.
When it has submitted, EDIT the answer and change to % signs.
Questions can only be added to on Edits, so just submit the header, then edit and put the actual question, with the % in it, into an edit like this.
This editing (for now) works off the old-style text boxes which do not fall over from %.
