Trying various escape characters to stop the + sign being swallowed

The plus sign dropping out is a glitch. Yahoo is aware of this and working on a fix, but no word when it will be fixed. If you don't leave a space between the numbers and the plus sign, the plus sign won't drop out. Hope this helps.
