If the DNC decides not to seat Florida and Michigan?

Will the democratic nominee be punished by the people of those states? I know Michigan has suggested splitting there delegates..I'm not sure about Florida..

It doesn't matter if the split them or toss them in the air. Hillary still lose.

Hillary should be ashamed of herself for even bringing up Michigan votes when she agreed not to put her name on the ballot and then crawled in through the backdoor on her belly and added her name.

The lady, and I use the word loosely, has no class or integrity

According to news reports today from Florida, the Democratic leaders in the state are trying to come up with a compromise with the DNC. I think the DNC rules committee in its' May 31st meeting will find a way to seat the delegates and have them vote according to a deal struck with each states Democratic leaders. This won't change Obama's lead but instead will be done in the spirit of unity. Should Hillary somehow still be in the contest or become the nominee she may well feel the ire of those in Michigan and Florida that didn't have the chance to vote for Obama in the primary. A decision that I am sure will weigh on the minds of the rules committee. It believe it would have been best if both Michigan and Florida Democratic parties had bitten the bullet and decided to pay for another primary to be held in May with the approval of the DNC. Both candidates would have had a chance to campaign for votes and there would not be the mess things are in now. Voters need to remember who started this "seat the delegates" issue voiding an earlier agreement. But you gotta love Hillary's other rationale, if the Democratic primary had be held like the Republican primary I would be the winner. So what does that tell you about how well democrats are running things????

Why would the DNC refuse to seat them? They are already negotiating plans to seat delegations from both states. You should realize Obama's lead is such that the counts from those states won't change the outcome.

If they don't get to vote, they will turn into a Red State...

but something tells me they just may get to...

in a race such as this, anything could turn or twist.

Yes, they will be punished. Who can blame Floridians and Michiganders for resenting the Dems.

I say, 50/50 with the delegation. That way HRC and her supporters can shut up and Obama would still be ahead.
