I have a section of hair that refuses to be straightened.?
I recently got my hair cut and thinned out because I have really thick curly hair. At first my hair turned out beautifully but now after about two or three weeks I have a section in the back that sticks out and refuses to lay down. I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny conditioner and serum. I also use a professional Chi Iron that gets really hot. Could it possibly be that I need a trim because I have over ironed that section? Or does anyone have any clue to what the problem could be and how I can correct it?

~Sometimes when you get layers they sort of stick out,get some smoothing serum to stop that and if that doesnt work you can go to your hair salon you can ask if they can put 'relaxers' in your hair. their like a perm but they keep your hair straight instead of curly for a few months. it is quite expensive to get done but it is defiantly worth it!

when you blow dry your hair, use the attachments that come with it and make sure you completely dry that section. after that, plus a serum and a straightener, your hair should lay down.
