macintosh computer help!!!!!!!?

i need to write a news article on my computer hich is a mac how could I do it? Is there a certain program that i can put it in so it is in rows like a news article?

    NeoOffice is a very good suggestion. You can also buy Apple's iWork, which includes Pages, a page layout and wordprocessing program. It will include templates, and there should be one or more that will help you. iWork is only $79,
