The media and the parties want to take people's voting rights away. They want to convince everyone to vote against the interests of the middle class and if a candidate dares to speak up for the middle class, they assault them and try to get them to withdraw so that the media's choice for candidate will win no matter what. Even though I voted earlier, they are working round the clock to make my vote meaningless.

I thought your primary was coming up soon?! And yes, it may be too late if you are voting for a Democrat, as that is now just a formality until Obama is declared the winner. For decades, we in California always voted in the primary in June, and we never had a say either. Finally, this year, the pols moved our presidential primary to March. We still have the state primary coming up in June. Maybe you could start a petition in Oregon to have your presidential primary moved up for 2012. Good luck on that, and I also know how tou feel. I started voting in 1972, and not until this year did my vote mean anything for president.

Not entirely clear about the question, but I'm an Oregonian (so that's a yes) and I have voted already.
Primaries are organized by the political parties. We don't pay taxes to the political parties.
As long as you are registered with a party you are eligible to vote in the primary for that party (Democrat or Republican).
When you say "not all of us get to vote" does that mean you are an Independent?
