EBILAN: Admin Account - User Account?

If they're saved files in the my documents folder then just copy them to a folder on the root of the drive before making the user account. After you make the normal user account you can copy them back to the my documents folder for the new account. If you've installed all of your programs to work for everybody on the computer (This is the default action for 99% of programs) then they will work fine after you've created the new account. For specific program settings have a look in

C:\Documents and settings\Administrator\Application Data for folders named like the program and copy them to C:\Documents and Settings\<new user name>\Application Data

The main reason that you should use a normal user account is because the admin account is not limited in any way. If a virus gets in to your computer while you are using the admin account it has free run of everything. Using a normal account would limit it's actions to some extent.

very simple Just make create another user and give him the rights of admin and change the rights of admin to a user then log off and relog

New User

Create the user

Note!

By Default it will be a member of users group

TO change the Rights

Right click on the user which you has created

properties

Member Of Tab

Delete the User and wirte the "administrators"

Now Right click at admin account

Properties

click the Tab of Member Of

Delete the Administrators

and write the Users

Ok

Now your admin is an odanary user cannot install any thing

but the new user you have created is now new admin of your computer.
