Portable plug in piece for Rock Band guitar?

I lost the plug in for the portable guitar for the playstation 3. Ya know the little black thing that you plug into the system that reads the guitar so you are able to play? Is there any place that sells that seperatly or am I pretty much screwed? I really don't feel like having to buy a whole new guitar just for that piece.

Don't bother looking for a place to plug a regular old USB cable in to, there isn't a place on the guitar to do that .

As of right now they do not sell the wireless plug seperately, but I believe they plan on doing so in the future. However, you may be able to get one by going through EA customer service. Go to the EA spport for Rack Band website (https://ea.riverstarsoftware.com/ea_inventory/rock... and go through the troubleshooter. At the end it will give you a phone number to call to help you resolve the "I can't find my wireless plug" issue. They may allow you to buy just the adapter through the support store, though I'm not certain about this.

My wireless adapter just broke and stopped sending and receiving the guitar signal, so I too have been looking for a replacement for the adapter. Luckily I bought one of those extended service plans on the hardware through the store that I bought it at and can go back there and replace it.

Hope you are able to resolve your issue, it blows that such a little part can derail being able to play the game- especially since there is no way to get around it. Good Luck.

I think there's no connection. Rock Band and Guitar Hero are video games. People who would play Guitar Hero but not real guitar are people who probably would have never wanted to play guitar in the first place. You can't make new music on Guitar Hero, and if a person is happy with that they probably would have just gone and joined a cover band, and we don't need more of those. I play Guitar Hero when I have friends over, because it's fun. I play actual guitar when I'm alone, because that never gets old. And maybe some kids will play the game and think "Oh, hey, if I got an actual guitar I could make NEW music." If they don't, well, whatever. Rock Band is a little different, because playing the drums on that can actually really help you learn to play actual real drums. So there's also that.
