Curtis "my favorite" Martin definitely deserves to be in, but he's only been on one ballot. He is a Hall of Famer, but his lack of postseason presence keeps from being a first ballot HOFer, and even as a Jets fan I can live with that. Two words: Jim Kelly. BQ: T.O. and Randy Moss are both first ballot Hall of Famers. They were very different, but both were the clear cut #1 and #2 for a long time and were legitimately dominant. No two ways around it.

Can't really say that I can think of one but I can tell you that O.J. does deserve to be there. What he did during the white Bronco days (Years later) has nothing to do with his accomplishments while he was playing football. Also Aikman and Irvin deserve it. They were cruicial parts of a dynasty. There aren't many people walking around with 3 rings and if they are, they will be in the HOF someday.

All the players I loved, and respected really did belong. I feel what you do on, and off the field. Makes you worthy to be there with the greats. So for a long time I felt just a teenie weenie bit. absolutely not. every single player and coach in there deserves it because of what they did on the field. off the field issues are not taken into consideration. for all of you that think simpson shouldnt be in there go take a look at this

remember its not about the off the field issues. every person in the hall of fame was a stellar athlete.

Less than 28,000 yards. Had HOF wide receivers, chain-moving running backs, and a legendary defense to to the heavy lifting.

His 70.9 QB rating is far less than Len Dawson, Bart Starr, Roger Staubach (All over 80.0). His TD/INT ratio is nothing special.

Yes, he was the QB and has a pile of Super Bowl Rings.

I never viewed him as a game-changer or playmaker in the same mold as the others I mentioned.
