Yes, it supports PC6400,(800MHz) ram, according to HP.com/Support.

check online...centon (the memory manufacturer) offers a service to figure out what ram your make and model computer uses...as do many other ram manufacturers.

No,
Your motherboard will only function *correctly* with 667MHz RAM, although you might be able to get it to work with 800MHz.
BTW: PC-6400 is 800MHz RAM.
