Yahoo messenger wont let me sign on?

*I get this problem with MSN sometimes. Try deleting the cache, this works for me. Incase you don't know how, go to internet options and choose delete cache and cookies. Hope this helps and good luck!

Check your keyboard if all the keys are working properly. Type your password in MS word and see if all the characters were typed as it should have been. My keyboard had this problem and I thought my account was hacked.

Probably the internet connection. Sometimes my MSN doesn't work because the network is bad. The best solution to that is to wait.

If it doesn't work for a long time then your account my be deleted or just simply Yahoo Messenger isn't working.

Sounds like you are using New Yahoo mail which has a built-in messenger and have the Yahoo messenger installed additionally. When Yahoo detects that you’ve already signed into Yahoo Mail, it will disconnect you when you try to sign into messenger or vice versa - hence the message that you are signed in to another computer. To get rid of your problem simply disable chat in your mail account by clicking the smiley and following the prompts. Yahoo remembers your settings until you change them. Hitting the X on the top right of Yahoo Messenger does not sign you out of Yahoo Messenger, it merely closes the contacts page. Always Click the "Close & Sign Out" on Y!M. Best of Luck to You.
