German proofreading help please?

I have to write a letter in german but my german is a bit rusty so i am not sure about my grammar, anyone helps pls?

Vielen Dank für Ihren letzten Brief, entschuldigen Sie, dass Ich ertz jetzt antworte aber Ich hatte Ihre Adresse verloren.

    It should be:

    Vielen Dank für Ihren letzten Brief. Bitte entschuldigen Sie, dass ich erst jetzt antworte, doch ich hatte Ihre Adresse verloren.

    I would formulate it so.

    Vielen Dank für ihren letzen Brief. Ich will mich aber entschuldigen, dass ich erst jetzt schreibe. Ich habe nämlich Ihre Adresse verloren.

    ertz should be erst and entschuldigen Sie is used as "excuse me" while mich entschuldigen is to apologize for something.

    You don't capitalize "ich" and I think you mean "erst" not "ertz". Not sure if there's anything else (word order isn't my strong suit...).

    "gegenüber" ability opposite, "vor" ability in front of - it relies upon on your meant which ability. i think of "sie" must be capitalized. "immer gerardeaus" must be "immer geradeaus" "von dem Kiosk" would be shrunk to "vom Kiosk"
