Stimulus check supposed to be DD by the 9th, where is it????

Some people who are expecting direct deposit are getting paper checks instead. Or, it could be your bank - you say your bank usually shows the deposit the next day, does that mean business day?

Your bank could have received it but not yet posted it to your account. They (not the IRS) control when it actually posts to the customers account. I would wait until Monday and see if it appears. If not, go to the IRS web site and check on your rebate.

I and another family member got ours yesterday right on time.

If you provided your bank account information on your tax return, you will get by direct deposit.

Also in the first lot only those whose return was processed by April 15, 2008 are getting the rebate.

The last two of my SS# are 75 which has the cut off of May 9th as well. I had my taxes DD in my account and did them at the begining of Feb and had no payments or witholdings either so Im thinking they are just SLOW as usual but I plan to look into it more. Thanks for asking the question so I can see what others say about it all!
