Mothers Day hockey questions?

1. Is your mom a hockey fan?

Yes, and she's the one who got me into it.

2. What is her favorite team?

The Tampa Bay Lightning as of now, but she used to be a huge Red Wings fan.

3. What is the best hockey related thing that she bought you?

I suppose that would be tickets to games.

4. What is your fondest hockey-related memory of her?

Just watching games on TV. That's what I love the most.

5. If you had to get her a hockey-related present for Mothers Day, what would it be?

Well, a couple years ago I broke her commemorative glass of when the Wings won the cup in 2002. It had Yzerman on one side and Lidstrom on the other. Even though I cut myself and had to go to the hospital to get stitches, she was pretty pissed I broke that glass. I'd get her a new one if I could.

Answer 1: No, she's more into the NBA.

Answer 2: She's not a huge fan of hockey anymore but she used to like the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Answer 3: Tickets to go see the my first live NHL game.

4. What is your fondest hockey-related memory of her?

Answer 4: When she brought me to my first NHL game (Philadelphia VS Buffalo In Buffalo)

Day, what would it be?

Answer 5: Toronto Maple Leaf Slippers or coffee mug.

1. Yes my mom is a hockey fan, but 'Yourmom' isn't a hockey fan.

3. On fathers day last year she bought me an autographed stick on ebay.

4. We had a Sharks-Party at her house for Game 6 of the WCSF in 2004 when the Sharks finally advanced to the 3rd Round...Good Times.

5. I would've gotten her a sweatshirt that said 'Red Wings vs Sharks Western Conference Finals 2008' Oops! Too bad it's not coming true! :(

- Only in a general sense. She doesn't follow it like we do.

- All her teams are Philly teams. But she did grow up a Yankess fan.

- Tickets to my first Flyers game back in 1974 vs. the Sabres.

- Coming down to the neighbors pond to see me tend goal.

1) No but my grandmother was the hockey fan. I remember watching the Miracle on Ice with her. She broke down and cried after they won, winning that game really meant that much to many of the people from her generation. I was too young to understand anything other than USA winning.

4. When we went to the Flyers-Rangers game. We wewre up 2-0 then the Rangers tied it 2-2 then it was 3-2 Flyers then 3-3. The game went into a shootout and we won. It was the loudest I have ever heard her sceam.
