What does a newborn baby use as a method of entertainment?

Mommy . . .

Eating from mommy

Being held by mommy

Being sang to from mommy

Being rocked by mommy

If you're lucky enough, maybe a little daddy too. Once they get older they start to get entertained by siblings, company, pets, crawling, toys, many things they shouldn't play with, etc. Avoid letting that "something" be TV for as long as possible!

Basic parental interaction such as feeding, and being talked/sang to are great ways to entertain a newborn. They don't need true forms of entertainment that older babies like, such as rattles and other baby toys. What they need the most is attention from those who love them and take care of their needs. Newborns respond the most to those types of things in their own litle baby ways!

Newborn babies are drawn to red black and white objects but for the most part a new new born will just sleep eat and poop.. Oh and cry. When they get older they start to become more entertained by movements and toys ie rattles and soft animal friends. It all depends on the age of the infant your refering to..

#3 Poop
