A relationship in the military...IMPOSSIBLE?

It seems like you can't make one happen. I am in the Army, divorced with tow kids-I can't seem to find anyone halfway decent! Most seem like groupies or uniform chasers. Nothing wrong with wanting a guy in the military, I respect that. But all the women I have encountered talk about "All the military men" they have dated before. I mean if you have had that many...it just seems impossible to find out who is legit and having someone understand the way you have to live your life while enlisted...I'm 32 years old-no time for the games anymore. Best thoughts on this get the points...I'm totally frustrated.

I'm about to marry a military man. I know that my fiance was sort of concerned that I was only after him for the uniform he very quickly learned that I'm in love with him in spite of the uniform. I have nothing against the military and I'm very proud to be engaged to a marine and I am the daughter of a former sniper. (I just don't like the danger aspect and would much prefer to have him home). It is possible to have a great relationship while in the military. Don't lose hope. Best of luck to you!
