divorce and men why do men like to drag out divorces?
I noticed this in many cases when a man has been not a great husband and the woman starts the proceedings that the man always seems to drag the divorce out for years. Why? The kids are the ones who suffer because of this.

Many women have already begun the process of leaving their spouse long before the legal process starts.
My ex told me that he didn't see it coming even though I had told him that I was not feeling happy and fulfilled and would to try counselling. He said that it took him a while to accept that it was really over. I gave him that time and we are now best friends as he realized that he wanted different things from a relationship, too. Our children are happy to see us enjoying each others company now that the tension is over.
Some men just don't want to lose some of their assets at any cost even if it is for everyone's benefit to end things as soon as possible.

Because some men feel that this is a way for them to legally cause pain to the one who has hurt them so badly.
