Isn't it impossible to avoid reality while living in reality?

Last thing I remember, I was

Running for the door

I had to find the passage back

To the place I was before

'Relax,' said the night man,

'We are programmed to receive.

You can check-out any time you like,

But you can never leave!'

At the end of World War 2, America was one of the countries that wanted to find out how the Germans were able to make the rockets they were raining down on London. What did they do? They were able to get the German scientists that made the rockets. That is how we were able to go to the moon; by getting the information, first hand from those that were involved in it. The experts; those that had the answers. The Germans showed how they did it. The Americans didn't want to see it the way they thought it should be shown but let the Germans tell them how they did it. Instead of surmising and waiting for someone on R&S to give you "tangible evidence". If you want to find out, be like the American scientists and listen to the ones that know God is real. Go a few times to where God is known to be; with an earnest desire to find him and you'll find the evidence for yourself. When the time comes, you'll be able to go beyond the heavens as we know them and you won't even need a rocket to get there.

I belive that humanistic reality is avoidable. A person may be surrounded by the world's evils. However, this does not mean that you are obligated to partake of this fabricated reality. One must be themselves throughout existence, or you will lose touch of your true self.

The only unavoidable reality is the laws of the universe that have been proven beyond a doubt!

Turning off your TV is a good step to creating your own reality. As far as avoiding reality completely, impossible.

entirely possible. But, not avoid or escape in the sense of exiting from reality literally, but in the sense of thoughts, feelings, or actions running significantly out of correspondence with reality. the latter is what we mean when we say escape or avoid reality.

No, not neccesarily because we could still be living in the present (reality at that time), but somehow not face up to what is going on around us. Some people prefer to live in a dream world because its easier...

I fled...

Scared I looked over my shoulder.

It was me, waiting for myself.

Reality bites.....

life is just a dream. God has better plans for us. I escape reality as I day dream or dream.

You can't escape reality but you can believe that you have.

Some people like me can't help but live in a different reality. everyone's reality is different. we all come from different environments with different beliefs. so whose reality is right? i have schizophrenia. well controlled by mediccation i might add, but my reality is just as real as yours. don't just my reality by your madness.
