Feeding molly fry?

I work part-time at a place that sells fish; but they're not much for taking care of the little buggers. One of the mollies had fry recently; I got her into a separate tank Saturday night (with much complaining from the manager) and she dropped 15 fry last night. We have plenty of flake food which they are supposed to eat if it's crushed fine; although they didn't show much interest in it. More to the point, I don't think anyone else will feed them.

So, the questions I have are:

1) What's the best thing to feed them?

2) Is there anything which can be left for extended feeding, in case I can't get there to feed them and can't rely on anyone else to?

Update:

Addendum: Mom has been separated; with a nursery box. She's been put back in the main tank, so the little guys have a 20-gal tank all to themselves.

Update 2:

Update: They have the First Bites now, though it's still uncertain if they'll get regular feeding. (The auto feeder is $40, more than I can spare right now.) Will try hatching out some shrimp later in the week. Thanks for the responses.

they also sell in petsmart Hikari First Bites and liquid food. I recommend the Hikari First Bites or also Baby Brine Shrimp.

they can be fed newly hatched live baby brine shrimp, powdered flakes and freeze dried food, and specially formulated fry flakes. auto feeders work well. any pet store should have some to sell.

your probably better off just feeding them the flake food. After a while they will eat it when they are hungry. but i dont think that you will be able to keep the fry with the mother for the fact that she eats all of them when she sees them . . maybe you should take them home, if its not a problem with your manager and take care of them yourself. other than that they are better off being fish food themselves
