Mylee as a name?!!?

It makes me cry. Not only was Mylee used once (which it never should have been, IMO), it's in the top thousand!

In 2007, 1,216 Mileys, 539 Mylees, and 322 Mylies were born. That's 2,077 more children than should ever have been named after a crappy Disney 'star'.

These comments about the name Mylee shows people's ignorance. First off the name Mylee is spelled completely different then Miley Cyrus. My daughters name is Mylee and she was named after my grandmother who's name was Lee so she is my Lee in memory of her, but at the same time giving her her own identity. So before people run their mouths stop and think before insulting someone's name because you may not know the true meaning behind it. You just make yourself look like an idiot.

I think it is a very beautiful name. For spelling I would go with Miley or Mylee. Suggestions: Miley Juliet Miley Rose Mylee Grace Mylee Lillian Mylee Sophia Miley Gabrielle

Horrible.. I hate it as well..and Nevaeh too. Mylee is just a name of the moment..it will fade over time, as her celebrity status does, and we'll be left with classfulls of Mileys and Mylees.

People named their kids Miley, Mylee, Milee, before Miley Cyrus was well know. I don't particularly care for the name, but

some of you are just mean. I can't believe someone called Miley Cyrus a "crappy Disney Star"! Yeah she is so crappy that she is only gonna be worth one billion dollars in three years. Further more, alot of names happen to be celeb names, but that celeb is just one of thousands or millions of people with that name. I mean if we never gave our kids names that celebrities have, we would have no Jennifers, Brittanys, Toms, or Reeses. Get over it. Don't be so mean. By the way you are talking about a little girl and you are a grown person.

It wouldn't be something I'd pick, though as names go and compared to some currently popular ones, it isn't too odd and 'out-there' - quite similar to Mylene or Mae-Leigh, both of which I've heard before. With Miley Cyrus and all, I'm actually surprised Mylee/Miley isn't more popular than it is.

I agree that it's a dumb name, but it is a very "real" name. It's Hawaiian.

Nevaeh on the other hand is so stupid that any child named that should be able to pick a new name by the age of 5.

I think the name Mylee is adorable, what is wrong with you people?!?! Who cares that there is a Miley Cyrus, that's one person! I think the name all by itself is gorgeous! It is different so people are like "wow" when they hear it but why must there be the same ol' plain janes running around to make people happy? How does Mylee not sound like a real name?? What would you prefer....another Jennifer??

Mylee *Shivers* and so it begins. Well at least they didn't take it from her real name before she changed it for good (Destiny Hope). But why oh why do they have to change the spelling we all know who they got it from.
