What would you consider an attribute or quality that may be considered a flaw or hindrance by most?

Update:

Doc and Morgan R.: It's strange how I agree with both of you. Is that a type of voluntary synthesis? <grin>

flercemel0n: I agree with you.

Cookie: Me, too.

Update 2:

Unafraid: Defiance could definitely be a positive attribute; depends on what you are defying.

TCB: You sound like my husband. =)

I totally agree with Chloe's Human. I am shy and quiet myself and my roommate always criticizes me for it. He says that I'm "not normal" because I am 19 and I still get shy. But I think it's helpful in a lot of situations. There are times where it's best to not say anything and keep your thoughts to yourself, and perhaps being shy comes in handy.

I'd rather be a little shy and not reveal everything than to be too talkative and reveal too much.

I think my shyness is an attribute or good quality. A lot of people would consider it a flaw or hindrance, but I don't because with everyone talking and doing whatever they do, I get a chance to watch and study them. You can learn a lot about people by just watching them and listening to them when they aren't really aware.

The need for control. Most people do not feel anymore that what is going to happen is going to happen. They feel that they need to control every situation so that it works out the way that they want it to rather than to just go with the flow, if you will. If eeryone realized that they really have no control even if it appears that way, the world would be a much better place.

failing to love money (or be motivated by it)! i am constantly bombarded by my friends and associates. "think about yourself"; "Go for the money", etc. They truly believe if you don't love money, you lack the "killer instinct" that will allow to to climb over the bodies of those that stand in your way. they believe nice guys finish last. while "virtue" won't pay the bills; i can sleep at night. but truthfully , without that motivation, much "progress" would have not occured.

Insanity. My wife is a perfect example of the saying, "There's a fine line between genius and insanity." But that's o.k., it's one of the things i love best about her.

    My obstinance and bullheaded-ness.

    Some folks don't like it....

"They" have helped me get through

    different situations in life.

    "They" are my strength and

    sometimes my defense mechanism.
