Traveling salesman problem and US capitals - what is the best path?
"Given a number of cities and the costs of traveling from any city to any other city, what is the least-cost round-trip route that visits each city exactly once and then returns to the starting city?"
There have been attempts to find the shortest path between the capitals of the 48 continental United States. Can anyone point me to a solution with the state capitals listed?
To clarify - I'm looking for an itinerary which has the optimum path between all 48 state capitals. I know that, since the answer is a complete circuit, I can start at any of the 48 and work my way back to that one.

Is this question about to ALL state capitals or did you miss putting in the "... state capitals listed?"

Oh yeah? Try hitting Maine somewhere that's not the start or the finish.
