Removing Mehndi?

I've just returned from a beautiful, four day Indian wedding celebration. On Friday, Henna artist were there & I had a beautiful piece painted on the top of my hand from above wrist down my index finger. It's starting to fade, but is there anything I can do to help remove the mehndi?

People try all sorts of things from rubbing hard with baby oil after soaking in a tub of salt water, to nail polish removal to scrubbing repeatedly with soap. Mostly it just needs to run its course.

Edit notes....here is a link to a video...she uses a couple other methods such as hydrogen peroxide, olive oil instead of baby oil and going into a chlorinated pool..

Well what she did is stain her skin cells so the only way is to scrub and scrub until those cells are off! Sorry! Try the drugstore to see if they have remover. Also try: nail polish remover -or- rubbing alcohol Hope I helped and Good Luck!
