I was 18 years old, college was about to start. My roommate and I had been drinking all night. The next morning we headed from Susanville to Turlok Ca to pick up his van where it had broke down. It was early winter, up there, cold as hell but hadn't snowed yet. I was wearing a thick green jacket. I was doing about 65 and misjudged a turn, hit the soft sand on the shoulder, tried to correct and shot off the other side of the road. In snow country the roads are raised several feet above the rest of the terrain so I launched. The car hit a tree stump on the passenger side. This was way before seatbelt laws. I flew through the windshield landing sitting up on the hood with my feet on the dash. My roommate ended up on the floor of the front seat. Some guy came out of nowhere, through the trees and came over to help. I knew there was a bar a couple miles back that I could call for help from (no cell phones back then). So I told him to watch Charlie while I went for help. Long story short, when I got back to the car, Charlie was awake and sitting in the backseat, no recollection of anybody helping him or being around. Now where the angel comes in, as I went through the windshield, an arm blocked my head protecting it from hitting the metal frame. It was a bare arm. Both Charlie and I were wearing long sleeve jackets. When my mother (adopted) found, out she went to see a seer (nutcase). The seer told her that my mother had protected me and kept me from being decapitated. She knew nothing about our family but knew my real mother was dead and acting as my guardian angel. There have been other times when I've felt her touch, heard her voice offering guidance. She died when I was 8 years old. I'm pretty sure she's left me and has been watching over my sons and grandsons over the last 20 years or so. They've all had situations where something much worse should have happened, but it was always just considered our good luck.
Charlie ended up with a broken back and a major gash on the side of his head. I had a scratch on my forehead and a tiny cut on my hand. The doctor said Charlie wasn't killed because he was buff. He said I wasn't killed "because you're damned lucky".

I could have sworn I saw one at my yard sale the other day. she seemed 'different', her demeanor and the way she looked, and the way she talked with us. We were packing up stuff because it was the end of the yard sale and she came by and was looking. I told her I was donating the left over coats and clothing to a shelter in town. I let her take what she wanted without paying for it. we turned around and she was gone. And then we spotted a $10 bill in an unusual place: sticking out of a bowling ball bag that didn't sell.
I think I encounter more angels than I realize.
I remember when my daughter was a baby (not sure if I were pregnant with my son just yet or just before he was conceived) and i only had $10 that week to buy diapers and groceries. Here in michigan we get ten cents for every empty can or bottle you bring back to the store. I was in line to use the bottle return machine and this elderly lady gave me a garbage bag full of empty cans that I used towards my groceries that week. It helped me out and i didn't ever see her again. I was so thankful. I feel as if she were an angel.

I was looking for the library in the town where we had moved to and I was riding in the car with my 2 youngest daughters. I was frustrated and freaked out being lost in an area that I was not familiar with. I asked my then 4 year old, ask your angel should we make a left or a right and she said right, and it was NOT only on the next right, but the right hand side of the road as well ;D

This is hard to write briefly but I'll try to shorten. Many years back I placed an ad in the paper to work with the disabled in their home. My sons were younger and there were some issues going on in life. I was looking to have some flexible hours that would be compatible with my home life situation.I received a call from a well mannered and polite guy who sounded as though he was in his 30's. He gave me his name, address, in the nearby next town, and told me the well known company he worked for. He said he and his wife were now caring for his grandmother. We made an appointment for his lunchtime, that day, where I would meet them both to talk.. He suggested I park at the end of the driveway as it was muddy this time of year and a new driveway. I set out in plenty of time, and even though I knew the area, when I arrived I couldn't for the life of me find the road. I drove up and down and finally I knew his lunchtime had passed and it was too late.I was frustrated and prayed several times for help.( this was a rural area) Finally I turned up a road and saw a woman who appeared to be in her 60's, outside. Told her who I was looking for and she said that was her husband, but that he hadn't called. Their family were all deceased. H e did work for the company the man had told me about on the phone. The address was correct, but the place where he was sending me turned out to be a sand pit. I called the police and the man was gone but items found there indicated he had been waiting for me and probably just left.. I never got over the fact that had I arrived on time; who knows what might have happened.Someone was watching and protecting me that day. I learned some serious lessons that day as well.

I think its possible that so far during my adult life an angel has been there to see that I dont make certain mistakes or go down the wrong path. Everyone is hooked on some kind of serious drugs in my family. It sucks. But I dont have addictive tendencies, I have a great job....TMI im sure but I feel like there is a reason I am not like the rest of them. Thank God =)

Everyday. It reminds of the song angels. Got His angels watching over me every move I make. The song says a reckless car ran out of gas before it ran my way. Near misses all around me accidents unknown though I never see with human eyes the hands that lead me home. I just know they are all around me even when I can't see what they are protecting me from. So Yeah angels are looking out for me.

Whenever I cross the busy street and there's the risk of being hit by any vehicle and I make it safely through, I know that my angel is looking out for me and wants me to be safe. There were several instances where I was almost hit or almost killed. I love you my angel, wherever you are.

Lol I think my Angel is on over-time. When reaching in the fuse box and making a slight error it very well could have killed me, and got away with just a little nerve damage and burnt fingers.
Before that was being blown up and burnt and gave grim hopes, and in the end recovered100%.
My Angel loves me.
~~Peace~~

If falling off a ladder and not getting hurt counts then I have..
I have no idea how I did;nt get badly hurt so assumed the angels were looking after me that day.

I was getting ready to go to town and everything kept delaying me. If I had left when I wanted I would have been at the site of a bad accident and would have been in it. I tend to accept intervention and not question too much.
