Little bumps on my girlfriends legs? 10pts?
My girlfriend has little like bumps on her legs all over. They look almost like her pores are like open wide. She hates them and wants something to help her with it.
If any one knows that would be great plus you get 10pts.
Thanx

Tell her that she should exfoliate her legs with a loofah before she shaves her legs. Make sure she uses shaving cream. If she uses a hair removal creme or waxes her legs it will be better in
preventing this. Immediately after all hair is removed, dry legs
and put on an after shave gel/creme ( they have some for ladies) or put on creamy lotion.

Red bumps on the legs associated with the hair follicles is called Folliculitis. Folliculitis is inflammation around the hair follicle and can be caused by a superficail bacterial infection. If you see pustules then there is bacteria involved and you would have to use a prescription topical antibiotic like Evoclin Foam. If no pustules then the inflammation is due to shaving, waxing, or plucking of the hair. This type of inflammation is treated with topical prescription cortisone like Olux Foam or Clobex Spray. I recommend you visit your local dermatologist for the best medication to control your skin condition.

are they red and do they itch.. if so she might have egzema.. thats what i had and if she goes to her dermatologist then they can give her meds.. she might also have just dry skin which lotion can help the really good morsturizer... but as far as the egzema the lotion citafil is good... and so is this lostion it starts with an A and its in a light brown tube that helps with itching....
another thing is that when she saves she needs to change her razor every 2-3 weeks, or she will get razor burn but its more like the bumps like you described..... good luck i hope you find whatever it is that she has... :)

It could be caused from shaving. Does it look like a razor burn? If that is the case then have her try nair or veet to remove the hair from her legs. If that is not the problem then she might want to see a dermatologist.

It could be an infection of the hair follicle called folliculitis. If they itch this could be a big possibility. Here is a little info about it. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/folliculitis/DS00...
Tell her to try using Sarna. It is a lotion that really helps with folliculitis. You can pretty much get it anywhere target, walgreens places like that.

use lotion, dont shave so often, and alternate shaving w/ creams. Sounds like ingrown hairs.
