No.
In the General Election over 30% of the registered Democratic voters will cross over party lines and vote for John McCain the way they did for Ronald Reagan back in 1980.
It is easy for registered Democratic voters to vote for John McCain because John McCain's policies are the same as mainstream Democratic policies.
For all practical purposes John McCain is another moderate Democratic Candidate even though technically John McCain is registered as a Republican.
That will give the Presidency to John McCain.
When over 30% of the Democratic voters cross over party lines it is almost impossible for the Democratic Candidate to win.
Barack Obama is a member of the radical extreme left.
Most members of the Democratic Party do not support the radical extreme left.
Large numbers of Democratic voters will cross over party lines rather than vote for a candidate who is a member of the extreme left.
Many of Obama's handlers apparently are assuming that registered Democratic voters will just follow along blindly and vote for Barack Obama merely because Barack Obama identifies himself as a Democrat.
Historically however over 30% of the registered Democratic voters are willing to cross over party lines when confronted with a Democratic Candidate who is a member of the extreme left.
Also many of the supporters want Hilary Clinton to run again in 2012.
The only way that Hillary Clinton can run in 2012 is if John McCain is elected President on 2008.
Many of the supporters of Hillary Clinton will vote for John McCain for that reason alone.

Obama needs to win three of these to win the general election.
Florida will definitely go to McCain. Crist is a popular Rep governor and already helped McCain to an upset win over Giuliani and Romney in the primaries.
Michigan will probably go to Dems. They have a dying economy and a Rep has been Pres for 8 years. They'll vote for a change in leadership. (The fact that their economy will continue to die regardless of who is Pres is beside the point).
Ohio and Pennsylvania will decide the election and Obama needs both. Both have different demographics than Michigan, but are about in the same boat as Michigan economically. It would be tough for McCain to win either, but they're a more realistic target than Michigan, especially considering Obama lost both in the primaries.

Probably not, but there is no reason to think he will have to. Michigan and Pennsylvania although are called "swing" states, they actually lean Democratic. Also just because some people may favor Clinton over Obama in Ohio and Florida, it does not mean they will favor McCain over Obama.

Who says he won't have Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Florida? Have they already voted for President?

Obama has already won unless Hillary and Bill pull a rabbit out of the hat regarding Florida and Michigan.

regrettably it does look like Obama will win the nomination to run on the democratic cost ticket. He won't get many of the democratic votes from the Hillary supporters. i'm afraid McCain gets it. I won't vote for the two one. How do you %. the lesser of two evils?

Well, of course and so could anyone else. Those states have a lot of votes but no where near a majority of the votes.
Check the Presidential election maps. Those states are not natural allies. They usually are split between the Democratic and Republican nominees
