I just find that all of a sudden because the candidate he supports has been hurt by his comments he changes a theology of over twenty years? I read his papers when I was in seminary in 85 and even wrote a rebuttal to his interpretation of Revelation. Every since then I have never heard him say differently until it began to hurt McCain. To those who say Hagee is not his pastor. He is a large supporter McCain has called him a good friend. You seem to hold Obama to a different standard.

i'm a Catholic. I in basic terms listened to Hagee's speech clarifying his comments approximately Catholicism and am happy that he's not anti-Catholic. he's professional-Israel and professional-Christ. you won't be able to have faith the media and all the a million/2-actuality statements flying around the internet. i visit vote for the candidate who represents the appropriate hobbies of the rustic, initiating with it relatively is maximum susceptible individuals - people who have not got any secure practices under the regulation through fact they stay interior the womb. Clinton and Obama do not come for the time of as servants of the human beings. they'll serve their hobbies and the activity of their very own. McCain proved his servitude in a concentration camp on the arms of tyrants who did not appreciate human existence. he's gained my vote. If the only concern trumps all different subject concerns, then this is the single that would desire to rely the main. the impressive to existence has been eroding when you consider that Roe v Wade. If the existence interior the womb may well be sentenced to loss of life for the reason for inconvenience, then we are on a slippery slope related to justifying our very own precise to existence.

Not catholic, don't care how they feel, and am tired of hearing about religion in the same sentences as politics. Can't we get back to seperating religion and politics? When religion is pushed into the same arena as politics, we're all doomed. GOD sure doesn't like it, have you ever seen so many natural disasters in the United States, as you have since G.W. Bush became president? I believe he's trying to tell us something, maybe like, don't use me as a scapegoat for bad political decisions, it's not his thing, no where in the bible did GOD or Jesus or anyone eles for that matter have a hand in politics. When a pastor stands at a pulpit, telling the people who are there to share their love for GOD, that God wants them to vote a certain way, he pulls another natural disaster to show his disdain. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it!!

Well, let's see if I can decipher your poorly written and confusing little diatribe: (i.e. "Today Pastor Hagee who called the Catholic Church the Great Whore!!!" is an incomplete sentence. Therefore, it is grammatically incorrect and difficult to understand.)
Does it make a difference to Catholics or do they find it offensive?
"In a letter to William Donohue, president of the Catholic League for Civil and Religious Rights, Hagee wrote: 'Out of a desire to advance a greater unity among Catholics and evangelicals in promoting the common good, I want to express my deep regret for any comments that Catholics have found hurtful.'
Donohue, one of Hagee's sharpest critics, said he accepted the apology and planned to meet with Hagee Thursday in New York.
'I got what I wanted,' Donohue said in an interview. 'He's seen the light, as they like to say. So for me it's over.'
In a statement posted in the Catholic League's Web site, Donohue added: 'What Hagee has done takes courage and quite frankly I never expected him to demonstrate such sensitivity to our concerns.' (from A.P. news article about Hagee's apology)
Hagee's toughest Catholic critic has stated that he admires the courage (guts) that it took for Pastor Hagee to apologize and has said "it's over"!
Actually, Hagee had already apologized to the victims of Katrina. I think you are confusing him with Rev. Wrong, who has never apologized to the victims of the 9/11 attacks, nor to any of their family members for his statements that 9/11 was well deserved and that it was a case of "America's chickens coming home to roost".

He's one of the agents of intolerance. McCain shouldn't pretend to have anything to do with them.

too little, too late, and too pointed to help McCain out.
they'd Rather him apologize than have McCain apologize--that would be like admitting McCain made (yet another) mistake!
