So, Einstein really was a Pantheist deist Christian atheist Judaist?
Just adding up the answers I see in the religious section.
And as a little bonus question: If Einstein was a Muslim Scientology Hindu Pagan, would your beliefs all of a sudden change into exactly what Einstein believed?

I'm not an atheist and I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangements of the books, but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God."
Einstein said himself he wasnt an atheist or a pantheist so you can cross those 2 off your list.

An appeal to authority by any other name would smell the same. And it ain't roses, my friend.
Besides, Einstein converted Darwin to Zoroastrianism before he became a Shinto monk.

No.
I don't give a damn what Einstein believed. Being an intelligent physicists does not mean that your opinion as far as politics or faith goes are worth anything.

A very simple way to fix everything, either he was religious or he wasn't. Trying to stick a name on him won't work. I never read anything about him or from him dealing with him being religious. We all have religious thoughts that go both ways. That doesn't make you religious. Practicing a religion makes you religious.
UP! Got it after some sleep. Thanks. lol

Pantheist. Spinoza pantheist. I don't know where any of those other answers are coming from, besides the fact that he was born Jewish.
