Equine nutrition - I know very little (that is current!) about it. I also want to learn more about training, since it is impossible to ever have "all the answers" in that area! You always run into new things that you haven't enountered before...but that someone else has.
I'm also making an effort to learn more about horse anatomy - skeletal structures, internal organ function, etc. All the stuff that was too mundane and "boring" to read up on when I was younger!
Oh and genetics. I never cared too much about how they related to coat color, but now that I realize I know next to nothing about it, I know it's time to learn!

I took a horse nutrition class in college - and forgot a lot of it. I would love to go back and learn it. It would help with understanding how much grain and grass a horse needs, as well as what soil content means for mineral absorption and the like.

color genetics, reproduction, nutrition, dentistry (teeth)...and anything else I don't know!
Genetics are interesting because so much influences color, and even when you think you've pinpointed what color the foal might be, it surprises you!
Reproduction...I know the basics obviously but I'd like to know more about AI. It was really cool because 2 years ago when we had my mare bred for the first time, our vet came out to palpate her for the first time to see if she took, and when he verified that she was pregnant, he let me feel what he was feeling...it was so neat.
And nutrition because I'm always curious about how certain things affect the body...I'd like to know more about poinsonous plants as well and how that affects them.
In the future I also would like to become certified in equine dentistry, so that's something I'd like to learn.

Color genetics fascinates me, but right now, unfortunately, all my equine educational investment is going into learning about DSLD/ESPA.
