I really don't think that human who watches movies like entertainment can answer this question,

that is why I choosed Theater and Acting category.

    Depends what you mean by "classic." Do you mean finest directors of classic film?

    Billy Wilder, John Ford, Frank Capra, Alfred Hitchcock, John Huston would be the American ones.

    For international, I would think Truffaut, Von Stroheim, Bergman, Rosselini, de Sica, Fellini and Kurosawa.
